Okay #skeezies---tonight marks the 9th night of the "30 days in LA" hosted by Red Bull Sound Select. What better band to see on a Sunday evening than Bad Religion aaand they're playing at the Mayan. If you haven't been to the Mayan it's not that big and it's a venue were you would totally want to see Bad Religion perform. The price of admission is only $15! But of course all those $15 tickets sold out in a heart beat. The only way to get in is to purchase them from some greedy non-fan for an obscene amount of money. Typically #LAskeez has more show options but Bad Religion is the only highlight of the day. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow!

Massive Attack // Of Montreal // Culture Collide
It's Thursday #skeezies! The weekend is almost here and #LAskeez can't wait.
There's two shows and Culture Collide that #LAskeez needs to tell you about so let's getting right into it.
Massive Attack. Everyone seems to love this British band from the late 80s and it's probably for a good reason. They're playing at the Greek Theatre tonight, which is absolutely perfect for this Fall like weather. Bundle up and take a little blanket since it gets chilly.
Of Montreal is playing at the Mayan theatre. Idk what's going on but the Mayan and the Belasco Theatre seem to be snatching up a good amount of shows. Anyway you can enjoy Of Montreal for $20. Don't let their name fool you, they're from Georgia.

Okay now that we got the little shows out of the way it's time to introduce the Festival of the week/end. It's the 5th Culture Collide here in LA and it starts today and ends on the 18th.
Bottom line it's supposed to feature international artists/bands from all over the world hence the name Culture Collide. Aside from music there's also going to be a variety of foods and art. Where is this taking place? No other place than Echo Park. For $30 you get snatch up a wristband and partake.
Here's a few music videos from bands that #LAskeez recommends checking out.
Seems like a busy Thursday with a ton of options if #LAskeez has ever heard of one.

SBTRKT // The New Pornographers // The Horrors
Another day means more shows that #LAskeez needs to tell the #skeezies about!

************
*****
Up for a drive? Like to the desert?
You're in luck because the New Pornographers are going to be playing at Pappy & Harriet's which is in Pioneer Town tonight for $30. In case you're wondering where Pioneer Town is, it's past the Morongo Casino and right near Joshua Tree. This would be the perfect impromptu adventure. If you're not up for the drive, it's okay, they will be in LA on Friday at the Wiltern.

Jessie J // The Horros // The Drums
Hey there #skeezies!!
#LAskeez always seems to go on a brief hiatus during 3 day weekends.
We're back so let's get back to the music shows going on tonight.
FREE shows are always a fan favorite so let's tackle that first.
The Drums will be playing a FREE show at Amoeba Records in Hollywood.
You know the drill. Get there early. People come out in numbers for free shows so #LAskeez would advise getting there around 2pm-ish. Make sure you download some new apps to keep you busy since they won't perform until 6pm.
******************************************************

For $22.50 over at the Observatory in Santa Ana--The Horrors will be taking over. Yep, it's a British invasion in this venue tonight. "So now you know". If you can't catch them tonight, they will be playing here in LA tomorrow at the Mayan Theatre. Oh and that show is going to cost you an extra $7.
*********************************************************************************
Another British act will be performing tonight and she goes by the name of Jessie J. Some may even consider her the UKs version of Katy Perry but the point is...for $30 (which is a little too pricy for the El Rey standards) you can see her sing all her hit songs in a very small venue, which in that case may be worth the $30. Happy Tuesday and keep it #skeezy.

Ciclavia // The Drums // Glass Animals
It's that time of the year again #skeezies--CICLAVIA is back!
Every year the city of LA shuts down a few roads and allows the cyclists to take over. Pull out your bike and start riding around with thousands of other folks. If you do go out there make sure to ride safely, the event ends at 4pm today!
#LAskeez has you covered and is hooking you up with the map.
Whether you use it to ride or use it to avoid the overly excited cyclists, the map is here for all to use.

There's some good shows tonight.
The Drums will be performing at #LAskeez's least favorite venue, the Mayan. These Brooklyn boys are a good enough band to potentially overcome the bad venue but who knows.

All they way from the UK-the Glass Animals will be at the Troubadour performing for a sold out crowd.

How about them Dodgers ?!?!?
Last night they beat in a nail bitting game against the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2. The series is now tied 1-1.
Game 3 is tomorrow in St. Louis.

DJ Shadow + Cut Chemist // Nick Waterhouse
Alright #skeezies---#LAskeez has a good line up of shows for today.
First up: DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist
Where: House of Blue in Anaheim
The Title of their tour is "Renegades of Rhythm" and if the name is any indication of what's to be expected, then you are in for a good show. If you don't want to drive to Anaheim, then don't they will be in LA soon enough.

Runner up: Nick Waterhouse.
He's local talent that knows how to play his guitar.
Catch this guy at the Mayan theatre tonight.
It's not one of our favorite venues but it may be worth checking this guy out.

In case you missed the War on Drugs last night--they're going to be at the Fonda Theatre tonight!
Cheers!
