Hipster-Meca/ Allah-Las/ Ok-Go / City & Colour / Neon Trees

#Skeezies are you still out there?!
#LAskeez dipped out and over the holiday weekend and took off to the hipster-meca (Portland, Oregon). After meeting a few people the word on Portland is the liquor licenses are dirt cheap BUT you need to serve food as well which is why there's soooo many eateries to choose from. There's a ton of local organic produce that floods the restaurants. Basically, to get a bad meal you really need to go out of your way and search for it. Aside from #LAskeez's stomach expanding, we checked out Multnomah Falls, Cannon Beach, and Powells Book Store (Amoeba of Books). Check out these awesome photos before proceeding to LA stuff.

Now for the LA business!
Head over to the Santa Monica Pier to see the Allah-Las and Ok-Go for FREE!

The evenings are getting slightly cooler which would make heading down to the Greek Theatre a nice evening date to see City and Colour. Unfortunately this isn't a free event and will run you about $40-70 big ones.

A quick drive to Pomona and you can see Phantogram at the Fox Theatre for $30.

Or the Pomona Fairplex to see NeonTrees

So little time so many shows. Pick the one that's right for you and enjoy.

Jack White @ The Fonda

First things first #LAskeez would like to congratulate the Kings for their big win against the Rangers! They won 3-0 and also lead the series 3-0. Just one more win and the Stanley Cup belongs to LA!

Big show coming up tonight. If any #skeezies were lucky enough to get tickets for tonight's show at The Fonda Theatre you are in store for a great set from Jack White.
Didn't get tickets for tonight's show?
No worries he's also playing again tomorrow at the Mayan Theatre and then heading up to Pomona on Thursday to play at the Fox Theatre.

The Knife/ Final Coachella Prepping Tips

The Knife FINALLY came back from their hiatus and performed last night at The Fox Theatre in Pomona.
Although no one is ever excited to make the drive out to no man's land for a show that will typically make a stop in LA, for whatever reason The Knife decided to make one stop before Coachella and they picked The Fox. It had been a couple years since they last played so everyone and their mothers showed up excited and ready for the sold-out dance part-ay.  Do not forget to watch them tomorrow at Coachella. They will perform at the outside stage from 10:30-11:30pm

Hope the #skeezies are ready for the...
 FINAL 5 Coachella Prepping Tips!
Here they are:

11. The nice restrooms that look like an actual bathroom (with a sink and all) are located inside the white trailer that is at the very end of every cluster of port-a-potties. #LAskeez doesn't do port-a-potties and neither should you.

12. Ride the Ferris Wheel at night. You're welcome.

13. Take your favorite pair of shades and a small scarf just in case the winds kick up. Last year ppl were coughing from all the dust/dirt they were inhaling. It's the desert folks! You need to be prepared for all situations.

14. You can either take one of those phone cases that charge your phone throughout the day or head over to the "charging station" to charge your phone. You're not the only one trying to upload photos on to FB or IG so be prepared to wait for that needed charge.

15. The signing booth. For all you know your favorite artist/ band has a meet and greet going on so here's your chance to go meet them. Most folks are too overly stimulated by the rest of the festival and tend to overlook this neat opportunity.

Bonus: Register your wristband! Set-times are officially up.

Well #skeezies, it's the eve before Coachella.
Hope the tips will serve helpful.
Travel and stay safe.
#LAskeez will see you there.
Off to the desert we go!
