Young & Sick @ the Echo

Sadly Team USA couldn't move passed Belgium during yesterdays soccer match but they played with great intensity and heart. The odds had certainly been against them from their first match but yet they managed to get as far as they did. Good job Team USA, America recognizes your hard work and effort.

Enough with the boohoo we didn't win nonsense let's talk about a great show that is going on tonight at the Echo! Young & Sick will be performing and it should be a great one. #LAskeez will be in attendance checking them out for the first time since Coachella.
Allow me to reintroduce Young & Sick...

They are LA based and they're all about the arts and music. So naturally we should expect the merch and visuals to be stimulating.
And if you want to say you really know about the band you can tell other #skeezies about the art work designs they have done for Maroon 5, Foster the People, and even Robin Thicke.

Sunset Strip Festival 2014

Since Sunset Junction is a thing of the past we only have The Sunset Strip Music Festival to talk about and lucky for you #skeezies the line-up was announced yesterday!
From the looks of it, the festival is going to offer a little of everything for everyone.
Jane's Addiction to Big Freedia that's a huge difference but #LAskeez likes it and can appreciate the bold move.
Mark your calendars for the two day street festival on September 20 & 21.

This is just a taste of what you can expect

If you enjoyed those music videos, then you need to be at SSMF!

Can't wait until September to go to a show?
Well tomorrow evening over at the Fox Performing Arts Center,  Jill Scott will be bringing from the soul realness onto the stage.

M.I.A. -- Lana Del Rey

M.I.A. brought it last night at the Shrine
Don't believe #LAskeez?
Check out some of the live footage from last night below.
M.I.A. did the usual old school antics like invite the crowd to dance with her on stage during "Boyz"  and played a lot of oldies but goodies. The word "Matangi" was brightly lit up on stage in huge letters. Something tells me the Matangi divine Hindu mother wouldn't appreciate being incorporated into M.I.A.'s set but that's what makes M.I.A that more awesome.

The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall has done some serious scoring with shows. Last night the M.I.A performance drew in quite the crowd and tonight +Lana Del Rey will be taking the stage.
The show isn't until this evening but there have been die-hard fans lined up outside since 9am!

There's something about this woman that folks just can't get enough of. I mean Kanye West willingly paid her 2.8 million to sing at his wedding for a reason.

Line wrapped around the Shrine for Lana Del Rey! Just 12hrs early.
