Comic Con / Echo and the Bunnymen

#LAskeez had the opportunity to take the Amtrak surf liner train up to Comic Con, this past weekend. Yes, the Comic Con in San Diego. The train ride is always a beautiful coast line ride up that it's hard not wanting to ride it. Even though a one-way ticket costs about the same as a full tank of gas and it takes just about the same amount of time if not longer to get up there in a car, its fun! Hmmm...wait a minute, what's up with that?
Just a reminder that the US is nowhere near the train systems as Europe or Japan.

Adventure time making it's way into the Comic Con

There were a ton of surprises over the weekend. The Batman versus Superman sneak trailer was revealed not once but TWICE!
The cast of Game of Thrones enjoyed their last panel together and the American Horror Story cast answered a few questions.
Tons of cosplays to look at and of course collectible items that comic con #skeezies were lining up for. Showing up 2 hrs ahead of anything you wanted to see was considered late in comparison to the over night campers. Nevertheless an amazing experience.

Another weekend came and went now you need something to do today.

Echo and the Bunnymen are slowly making their way over to LA and tonight they will playing a few miles away over at the Observatory. The word is out that there's going to be a killing moon tonight so head over to enjoy some classics.

Let's take a brief moment to take in how Dodgers swept the +San Francisco Giants

It was absolutely spectacular.

James Franco--Convincingly Creepy High School Girls Soccer Coach--Palo Alto

James Franco plays a convincingly creepy high school girls soccer coach in the new movie Palo Alto.
Tuesday evening #LAskeez was invited to an exclusive premier over at the +ArcLight Cinemas to see the movie Palo Alto,  written and directed by Gia Coppola, based on the short stories of James Franco.

Following immediately after the movies was a Q&A with the director Gia Coppola, (if the name sounds familiar that's because it is. Francis Ford Coppola is her grandpops  and Sofia Coppola is her Aunt)  and even Emma Roberts sat in on some Q&A action! Must be nice, it seemed like every Hollywood celebrity's kid/relative had a role in this movie that was funded by James Franco. Van Kilmer's son, Jack Kilmer made his debut in the movie as well. Anyway the movie perfectly captures the many experiences of high school without focusing on the perfect cheerleader or loner teenager. Palo Alto oddly reminded #LAskeez of the mid-90s movie Kids but if you can look past that, it's entertaining enough.

For all you +American Horror Story fans, Emma Roberts shared with the audience that the filming will be taking place in July and her role is yet to be determined.

Check out the trailer for Palo Alto:

LA sports talk:

+Los Angeles Clippers lost last night to the +Oklahoma City Thunder  101-112. It's all good the Clippers did their job and took one win away from this road trip and will play Game 3 here in LA.

+Los Angeles Kings play Game 3 today against the +Anaheim Ducks at 7:00pm.

+Los Angeles Dodgers are on a loosing steak and lost to the +Washington Nationals yesterday 2-3. Hopefully the boys in blue can pull it together today against the +San Francisco Giants at 7:00pm.

Making headlines in the LA times and all over the internet---Donald Sterling's wife Shelly Sterling,  has no intentions on selling +Los Angeles Clippers. Shelly, is a co-owner of the team and in her little head thinks it's okay to hold on to them. She has also been accused in the past of making racists comments about minorities. The NBA better make right of this situation ASAP.
