Fleetwood Mac // Hot Chip // Chet Faker

#LAskeez hopes all the #skeezies out there kept it safe and didn't get into too any scuffles while looking for those bargains during Black Friday. Now that it has come and gone it's now time to get back to the shows and trust us, there's some good ones.

Fleetwood Mac will be performing at the Forum in Inglewood tonight for their second night here in LA! If you can't catch them tonight they will be back at the Forum Dec 6th. So there's plenty of opportunities to catch them. Especially if you're willing to go down to San Diego or Anaheim to see them before they return to the Forum. Considering all the tour dates, So Cal clearly is Pro-Fleetwood Mac. Tickets range anywhere between $60-690+. Show starts at 8pm so make sure to get their on time.

Over in Hollywood at the Avalon, Hot Chip will be ready for the dance floor tonight with a DJ set. Looks like the set time for this gig is at 10pm. Tickets are around $25+. After tonights show they take off to Mexico, come back to states for a New York show and then back home to the UK they go.

Today's exclusive event is hosted by Red Bull Sound Select. Tonight marks the 29th night of "30 days in LA". Over at Mack Sennett Studios (which happens to be one of the oldest studios in LA) Chet Faker who is an #LAskeez favorite will be performing to a very intimate crowd. Like all the other Red Bull events the tickets to this show were only $15.   There's limited parking near the studio so Red Bull has set up a shuttle system. If you park in Lot F over at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles the shuttle will pick you up and drop you back off.

Who is William Onyeabor?

Who is William Onyeabor? Diehard music fans everywhere rejoice on this old school funk/synth/rhythmic gem of a find. William Onyeabor's music was so clearly ahead of its time and noteworthy that the music equivalent of The Avengers team felt compelled to share his music Thursday night at +Greek Theatre. So who exactly was on this musical A-Team? Well-let's drop some names: former Talking Heads member David Byrne, Alexis Taylor from Hot Chip, Kele Okereke from Bloc Party, and Pat Mahoney from LCD Soundsystem. Other artists that partook were: Money Mark, Lijadu Sisters, and opening set by Wooden Wisdom ahem...Elijah Wood?! Yes and partner in crime Zach Cowie.

Check out this amazing tune by the man himself William Onyeabor. Although recorded a few decades ago, this is music that could easily hold its own (and then some) next to any contemporary electronic music:
William Onyeabor - Good Name

William Onyeabor in his punk rock gettup. Get with it #skeezies! I might just pick up a white cowboy hat after Thursday's show.
